2026 Fall Member Meeting Travel Stipends

We’re pleased to share that, once again, a limited number of travel stipends are available to help our members attend the hybrid APTrust Fall 2026 Member Meeting in Atlanta in person this October. We understand that travel budgets can be tight, and we want to ensure as many institutions as possible can have at least one in-person representative join us.

We’re offering up to five stipends to help offset travel and accommodation costs for this valuable in-person gathering. Based on need, the number of scholarships could be expanded.

How to Apply

To be considered for a scholarship, please send a brief email expressing your interest to nathan.tallman@aptrust.org by September 30. In your email, please tell us:

• Why does your institution need financial assistance to send a representative?
• How would attending the in-person meeting benefit your institution’s engagement with APTrust?
• Confirmation that your institution would likely not have an in-person representative without this scholarship.

What the Scholarship Covers

Each scholarship will reimburse eligible travel expenses. This can help cover costs such as:

• Economy class round-trip airfare or train fare or mileage.
• Up to three nights of hotel accommodation.
• Meals (excluding meals provided during the membership meeting).

Important Details

• One Scholarship Per Institution: To maximize the number of institutions we can support, we’ll generally award only one scholarship per member institution.
• Sustaining Membership: Only employees from APTrust Sustaining Members are eligible to apply.
• In-Person Attendance: Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the entire in-person meeting.
• Reimbursement Basis: Funds will be disbursed on a reimbursement basis. You’ll pay for your travel upfront and submit receipts after the meeting for reimbursement up to the scholarship amount.
