Occidental College joins APTrust as its latest sustaining member

APTrust is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to the APTrust community – Occidental College. As a small liberal arts college on the West Coast, Oxy will bring its unique perspective to the APTrust Community and will help continue our collective work.
The APTrust Governing Board unanimously voted to approve the proposed membership and Oxy has already begun participating in the community, working groups, and planning their deposits. “I am not surprised Oxy has hit the ground running”, said APTrust’s Executive Director, Bradley Daigle. “Having been in conversations with their staff–particularly their Special Collections and Archives–for a few months, it became clear that they had already been tackling the difficult issues that surround a successful approach to digital preservation.”
Oxy becomes APTrust’s 20th sustaining member.
