Senior Preservation Systems & Software Engineer Sought

The Academic Preservation Trust (APTrust) is looking for a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to help build an aggregate preservation repository serving a broad community of Universities nation-wide. The Senior Preservation Software & Systems Engineer takes a leading role in the design and creation of custom software to process, preserve and manage Digital Objects from partner institutions within the APTrust Aggregate repository and the Digital Preservation Network (DPN) dark archive. Working closely with a small development team, partner Universities and the Tech Lead, the Senior Preservation Software & Systems Engineer will identify and implement effective solutions to create a trusted digital preservation system to ensure the durability and recovery of vital scholarly content.
