Advisory Committee
The APTrust Advisory Committee comprises two representatives each from the APTrust Sustaining Member institutions. They are appointed annually by their respective deans and two members of the committee are selected to serve as co-chairs and liaisons to the APTrust Governing Board, where they are voting members. Advisory Committee members bring expertise in their respective fields and also in policy matters and priorities to APTrust. The group keeps the broader community informed about and connected to the developing digital preservation infrastructure.
The term of service for Advisory Committee members is one year with no limits on reappointment, though it is not recommended that Advisory CO-Chairs serve concurrently as other group co-chairs due to the workload. The Advisory Committee can invite non-member experts to meetings as appropriate and approved by the Executive Director.
